Primary
Responsibilities:
- Build medical cases received
via phone, fax or web by provider offices. - Route cases to an RN or approve
at rep level. - Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High
School Diploma/GED or 10+ years of work experience. - Knowledge
of Medical Terminology. - Knowledge
of CPT & ICD-9 coding. - 1+
year of experience in a Healthcare facility, Medical Office, Hospital or
Managed Care setting. - Familiarity
with basic PC functions. - Experience
utilizing a phone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the
job duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data
Entry experience. - Call
Center experience.
