Primary Responsibilities:

  • Network
    Audit fraud, waste and abuse activities
  • Unclaimed
    property responses, payment requests and void/reissue reconciliations,
    verifying monthly unclaimed property letter listings from Treasury
  • Business
    Partner payment request staging and maintenance
  • Deceased
    Reissue payment requests and void/reissue reconciliations
  • Misc.
    correspondence activities
  • Research
    and resolve checks returned to us by customers
  • Complicated
    payment tracer research and support
  • Offshore
    holiday support for tracers and Check Batch Maintenance
  • CMS
    Hospice Refund payment support and tracker updates
  • Support
    Claims Reconciliation by fielding questions and providing supporting detail
  • Support
    yearly internal audit activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • High
    School Diploma/GED
  • 1+
    year Previous accounting, banking or finance experience
  • 1+
    year Previous experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
  • Ability
    to utilize MS Excel to create formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, knowledge
    of macros, and linking spreadsheets
  • Ability
    to utilize MS Access to import/export data for review and analysis, using
    SQL statements, loading table data
  • Ability
    to utilize MS Word to create correspondence, updating forms/templates, use
    of spell/grammar check tools
  • Ability
    to utilize MS Outlook for e-mailing, calendar management and e-mail
    archive folders


Preferred
Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's
    Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Previous
    experience within the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge
    of CMS Compliance
  • Knowledge
    of SOX Compliance
