We have a full-time opening for a MRO Buyer.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements
Seeking MRO Buyer to complete procurement activities for raw materials, purchased parts and assemblies, MRO, and/or outside processing for the organization. Plans and performs all aspects of the organization's purchasing/supply chain policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for the creation, approval, maintenance, and execution of Supply Chain and/or MRO program requirements on assigned programs. Apply contemporary supply chain practices to programs during the proposal through performance phases. Responsible for supporting Program Management objectives, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, supply chain risk management activities, and all other supply chain related matters.
Required Skills:
Coordinate the procurement of major goods and services in the most cost effective and timely manner, ensuring quality and on-time delivery consistent with company standards
Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing processes and related systems, logistics, and asset management
Must have exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and pay attention to detail in a growing, competitive, dynamic environment
Excellent risk management methodologies, problem solving and decision making skills
Working knowledge of Internet, E-mail, ERP systems, and all Microsoft Office programs
Heavy focus on cost reduction and lead-time reduction initiatives
High level of technical experience required, capable of reading and explaining blueprints, and capable of creating detailed statements of work including process steps, terms and conditions, technical data, specifications, and quality requirements.
Able to write and present presentations, and articles of information to senior/executive management
Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement and Lean Enterprise practices
Capable to read, analyze financial reports and draw valid conclusions
Timely issue of quotes, requisitions, and purchase orders with follow-up through receipt
Verify purchase order accuracy, and keep system status up to date
High level of energy, enthusiasm, ethics an integrity above reproach
Promptly resolve any discrepant supplier invoices
Apply continuous purchasing policy/procedure improvements
Experience with ISO 9000 audit requirements
3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience as a MRO Buyer or equivalent
BS/BA degree required
Extensive knowledge of ERP systems required, Oracle experience preferred
