Aerotek is hiring Warehouse Workers for Volkswagen Parts Distribution Center client in Lenoir City, TN. Candidates must have 3 years of recent, stable work history within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Recent forklift experience is required. These employees will be responsible for any of the following:
- Order Picking
- Order Packing
- Forklift
- General Assembly
- General Labor
- Shipping & Receiving
Pay will start at $11.00/hr with opportunity to get a large page raise if offered a full time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive Volkswagen and Audi OEM Service Parts through unloading trucks, sorting materials, and stocking shelves while operating general warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, and tuggers.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing cycle counts and assisting with general inventory control duties to support the overall warehousing activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilize RF hand held and vehicle mounted scanners to confirm receipts and outbound dealer orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and manifest all Volkswagen and Audi Dealer orders with 100% accuracy while meeting all performance related metrics and ensuring compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general housekeeping requirements within the PDC/RDC including the removal of trash and empty boxes while performing all warehouse functions.
