Description
Utilize your exceptional leadership, communication and analytical skills as an Associate Product Manager within the Textiles Division at Medline. Located in our corporate office in Mundelein, IL, this individual will work closely with the Product Manager to plan, organize and control the Product Line from the conceptual stage through the product life cycle to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and hard-working professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, large corporate environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist product managers with day-to-day maintenance of the product line, including: pricing updates from vendors; running attribute program; loading SPAs; verifying descriptions for accuracy; discontinuing outdated item numbers; confirming product details with vendors; and gathering images from vendors.
- Travel between 30-40% to assist the large number of sales reps that are able to sell our product; also to keep a pulse on the market and look for new market trends and opportunities.
- Assist in promo presentations and phase training for Acute Care, Post Acute Care and Textile sales forces.
- Answering a heavy volume of phone calls and emails.
- Quoting when necessary, but not a primary function.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous experience with product management / marketing or sales is preferred
- Clinical background / previous healthcare experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills required
- Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
- Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have a bias toward action and be results oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Travel required 30-40% of the time
- Design, materials management, or environmental services background preferred.
