CNC Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is hiring CNC Machinists for 3rd shift openings.

We are looking for experienced machinists to set up and operate vertical mills and lathes. Must have experience running at least 3 axis machines.

Lathes are Okumas and Mori Seikis.

Daily responsibilities will include:
-Set up and performing a variety of machining operations including complex profiles that will require changes in feeds, speeds and tool angles.
-Improvising machine set up to perform non-standard work
-Utilizing jigs, fixtures, blocks or shims to level and align irregular shaped parts
-Deburring
-Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and calculating/determining dimensions
-Read and interpret programs with an understanding of machine movements
-Gaging and inspecting parts to dimensional tolerances close to +/- .0005 or less using various measurement devices to include micrometers, indicators, etc.
-Checking for concentricity, formed sections, steps or shoulder to close +/- tolerances of 0.001" or less for faulty operation or defective material
-Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
-Upkeep of equipment and supplies -Reporting of any problems or difficulties to the appropriate personnel
-The upkeep of all required documentation according to company standards
-Working with G and M codes
