About this job

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
Qualifies prospects, makes effective sales presentations, answers questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner. 
Surveys mechanical systems and is responsible for determining repair, modification and/or replacement requirements to provide prospects with solutions to problems both internally (to operations team) and externally (to customer). 
Estimates cost of proposed repair/modification/replacement, interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions and apply company pricing standards to the estimate.
Understands customers cost to own, operate, and maintain facilities and translate into proposals and sales that will enhance customer's facility while reducing long-term owning and operating costs.
Identifies prospects in assigned market. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals. Establish customer rapport and identify needs. Maintains an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met.
Promptly addresses customer concerns to assure resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationships.
Understands prospect's organization and decision-making process. Anticipate and answer objections. Commit the prospect to a decision making timetable.
Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales objectives.ï‚ 
Performing other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Required
Vocational Training
Minimum three (3) years experience in the HVAC/Energy Industry
 
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar
Five (5) or more years experience in HVAC or Energy Industry
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 
Thorough understanding of HVAC mechanical systems and how to proactively estimate, propose and sell these systems using financial based selling techniques
