This is not a traditional Business

Internally, this position is called a Business Analyst; However, it
is really a Liaison role to assess our client requirements to utilize our
product accurately for their needs.  



This position supports Payer
Solutions within OptumInsight.



 



Subject Matter Expert - A key part
of the role is being a subject matter expert for the CES product. The subject
matter expert is the primary go-to resource for any questions or issues related
to the product. The SME will have the understanding, knowledge and skill to
speak definitively on a rule and provide information on how it works, how it is
configured, and what its capabilities and limitations are. The primary way of
gaining the subject matter expertise is through hands-on use and experience
with the software. The expectation is that the Business Analyst can create and
maintain custom rules, and answer any questions regarding the rules engine or
rules in the product. In addition, the business analyst will need to have
working knowledge of and be able to speak to the rules features available in
various versions of the product. Lab environments are available for this
hands-on work, and can be leveraged for most versions of the product.



 



Business Requirements &
Documentation - Another key part of the role of Business Analyst is the
creation of rule requirements. The Business Analyst should be able to take a
high-level business policy statement and create clear, understandable and unambiguous
requirements and obtain sign-off from appropriate stakeholders. Business
Analyst training can be provided to help build the skills of requirements
creation. The creation and maintenance of these requirements are critical to
ensure that the rule being built is working as required and will provide the
business value anticipated by the customer. As a Business Analyst, it is
critical that this documentation be kept current and complete, and be stored in
the correct repositories, so that it may be accessed by others,
internally.



 



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Subject matter expert.
  • Creation of rule requirements.
  • Creation and testing of rules in the CES
    product.
  • Timely delivery of rules and rule requirements.
  • Assist in addressing client rule issues.
  • Administration
    items.


Requirements



Required Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma/GED.  
  • Experience Editing systems for configuration within the
    Healthcare market.  
  • Healthcare Claims Adjudication experience.  
  • Experience working on the Internet (in any
    capacity).
  • Current and basic (or higher) level of proficiency
    utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.    
  • HTML understanding or experience. 


Preferred
Qualifications:
 




  • Experience with COSMOS and NICE
  • Microsoft Visio experience is a plus.  
  • Knowledge of or experience with multiple Claim
    Adjudication systems is a plus.
