Are you tired of working long hours in the restaurant business? If so, Westminster Canterbury has this wonderful opportunity for you to work in our dining areas. Westminster Canterbury Richmond has openings for experienced Wait Staff and Household Specialist-Dining. Our Wait Staff is responsible for all aspects of ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our residents and guests. Our Household Specialist-Dining is responsible for serving menu items to order from a limited menu for residents in a caring, home-like environment in our Parsons Health Care Center. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Ensure dining area is clean and stocked and maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform some light cooking, sandwich preparation and cleaning
- Must be able to lift 20lbs unassisted and work on feet up to four hours at a time
- 1 or 2 years of related work experience and experience working with senior adults is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalency or combination of education and experience to fulfill requirements and essential duties of the position
- ServSafe certification desired
- Offers of employment are conditioned on applicants meeting requirements of a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Shift(s):
Various hours including evenings and weekends between 4:30pm and 8:00pm
