As a Recovery Resolution Account Analyst you will be responsible for investigating,
recovering and resolving all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution
for health plans, commercial customers and government entities. Duties may
include initiating telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance
companies to gather coordination of benefits data. Investigate and pursue
recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file management. Process
recovery on claims. Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies,
reimbursement policies and contract compliance.



 



Primary
Responsibilities:



  • Provide expertise claims support by
    reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types
    of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial
    customers and government entities

  • Analyze and identify trends and provides
    reports as necessary

  • Ensure adherence to state and federal
    compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

  • Extensive work experience, possibly in
    multiple functions

  • Work does not usually require
    established procedures

  • Works independently

  • Mentors others

  • Acts as a resource for others

  • Coordinates others activities

Requirements

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years of
    experience in claims recovery and resolution and a high school diploma/ GED

  • 25% regional travel within the San
    Francisco area

  • Commutable distance to San Francisco
    site

  • Intermediate MS Office
    experience (Word and Excel)

  • Working Hours 6:00am - 6:00pm Monday -
    Friday



Assets:



  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
    (ability to build and maintain rapport)

  • Accounting experience

  • Previous experience in an auditing and/
    or analytical role

  • Health insurance experience



Physical

    computer and use of hands/ fingers across keyboard or mouse
