 As an IT Project Manager in our Enterprise Program Management Office, you will be accountable for project and program management activities associated with the Healthcare Reform agenda. This is a highly visible role which will interface with a variety of business and technology leaders.


 


Primary Responsibilities:




  • Engaging business leaders to fully understand requirements



  • Planning, managing, and leading projects (as a program) across 90 interdependent applications



  • Owning end-to-end accountability for successful quarterly releases



  • Initiating project definition and planning activities for global teams



  • Structuring projects into program portfolios



  • Ensuring proper alignment, integration and visibility across all stakeholders



  • Define and manage a complex set of upstream and downstream business and technology dependencies



  • Driving consensus and decision-making with business and IT management teams



  • Influencing leaders to balance competing priorities



  • Monitoring program activities to ensure on scope, on time, on budget and on quality delivery and on benefit



  • Maintaining visibility on day-to-day activities with program teams and ensuring sufficient face time with key stakeholders



  • Providing status reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis



  • Mitigating risks and addressing program/project obstacles as needed 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years Project Management experience
  • Strong drive, sense of urgency and perseverance
  • Proven financial forecasting experience
  • Demonstrated success leading IT projects with matrixed project teams
  • Proven success leading projects with $1M+ budgets
  • Knowledge of the SDLC
  • Demonstrated cross-application program planning and execution skills
  • Proven ability to get into the details of programs in order to drive them to fruition
  • Must be able to work in Minnetonka office

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Health care insurance industry background
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with HIPAA or other EDI related compliance
  • Big 4 or Professional Services experience
