Manufacturing Optics Technician - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Manufacturing Optics Technician.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

ManpowerGroup is currently seeking a Manufacturing Optics Technician to help support our client's team in Wilsonville, OR. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately 6 months. The pay rate is $26/hr. Job Description: *Apply engineering theory and practical knowledge to build and test opto-mechanical, opto-electrical *Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations *Substantial acquaintance with work and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job *Quickly assess if measured and calculated results are reasonable and not grossly in error *Troubleshoot test equipment and determine appropriate action required to get the equipment repaired *Use software tools for data analysis and reporting *Understand optical performance characteristics for optical elements such as LCDs, polarizers, lenses, filters, films, and diffusers *Will be using Minolta CA-210 (Color Analyzer); software used is Excel and a number of client developed programs Requirements: *Minimum of a high school diploma/GED *Having PC and Windows experience is required *Alignment and image quality optics experience required *Excellent organizational and analytical skills For additional information, please contact nicolai.ketelsen@manpowergroup.com and in the subject line list the name of the position and its location.
