About this job

Candidate will be providing a high level of patient/customer service and a high quality of patient care. Patient handling includes scheduling, rescheduling, cancelling patients' appointments, and preregistering new patients. Answer patient inquiries and relay pertinent information to the staff/physicians in compliance with the internal booking guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must be flexible to work any shift after training. Business hours are: 8 AM to 9 PM, 7 days a week. Shifts will vary. FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST. 17 Paid Time Off days, but office is open 365 days/7 days a week.

-Must have great judgement skills.

-Must have good job tenure at previous positions

-Must be able to pass drug and background upon job offer

-Must be passionate about helping others and customer service.

-They are often handling emergency situations and should respond with sound decision making skillls to all calls.

-Must have the ability to deal with rude or impatient customers

-They are also speaking with doctors, physyican offices and other medical professionals. Candidates are handling patient emergencies and sound decion making skills are critical.

Other notes: Candidates have many opportunities for growth. After one year of tenure, they are eligible to apply and qualify for other departments/positions such as billing, medical records, training, quality, assistant manager and a universal rep. Candidates will have 80 to 100 calls per day and most of the calls are emergency situations. Associates must have the ability to speak with angry, inpatient, rude or even disprectful patents on the phone. Associates who are passionate about serving others do very well in this job.
