JOB DESCRIPTION
We're currently seeking a Panel Wirer for a contract opportunity in West Chicago, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world's leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a wide range of duties in the completion of Plug-in units for MCC (Motor Control Centers).
- Some of the duties include assembling units (Build), prepare wire Harnesses and Wiring of plug-in units to order specifications, Standards, BOM, layouts and wiring diagrams.
- The work performed must meet required Quality Standards (Zero defects) and Workmanship.
- In addition, assembly duties include some drilling, tap holes; mount components; cut, strip wire and to form/install power cables etc.
- Perform inspection checks on work performed.
- Report any defective material.
Use of hand tools, power/pneumatic driven tools for the work performed. - Maintain neat and orderly work area and observe safety rules and practices.
- Must wear Safety shoes to work in the West Chicago plant
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year experience in panel wiring
- Completed High School plus Technical studies or completed an Electrical Apprenticeship or completed Electrical studies at College level (certification or Associate degree)
