LIMS Sr. TECHNICIAN - Full-time / Part-time

This is a starting position in the LIMS Team of the Analytical Sciences Division. The main purposes of this position are to provide support for customers submitting requests for sample analysis by the Analytical Sciences Division; to provide support for the analysts within the Analytical Sciences Division who use the LIMS; and to support the continued development and enhancement of the LIMS. • Develops, recommends, and implements innovative procedures to solve problems related to own or shared LIMS projects with input from supervisor. o Assist in LIMS Team project development o Develop simple Jasper Reports o Develop simple Web Pages o Perform simple maintenance of existing JAVA Actions • Effective in understanding and interacting with others. • Provides information or support to others at ATC or plant locations. o Perform clear, courteous and professional customer interaction to gain clarity of information for LIMS job/sample Request Submission and database maintenance. Accounts for 30 - 50% of this position o Develop and Deliver User Training • Assignments involve analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of various situations. o Independent Contributor - Team member o Assist with ASAT testing and documentation o Fix Routine/Defined Request Submission Issues o Provide limited support/maintenance of routine data import functions o Provide Routine/Defined support for SCS/LIMS o Create/Maintain limited DB components - Reference Types, Users, Calibration Items, Observations, Crosstraining, etc. o Limited use of TOAD/Infomaker - no Oracle DB architecture maintenance
