This position supervises a team of individuals who provide
sales support and administrative services to non-employee sales producers such
as broker agents, field marketing organizations, and independent contract
agents. Ensures proper completion of contracts, marketing agreements, and
documentation to support sales targets. May administer programs and monitoring
to ensure compliance with external agent credentialing and training
requirements. Acts as internal liaison and customer service resource for
external producers relative to enrollment and policy questions, systems issues,
and coordination of materials fulfillment. As one aspect of broader support
role, may manage administrative aspects of commission payments such as routine
tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting issues relative to missing or disputed
payments.



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Supervising direct reports
  • Evaluating performance of direct reports monthly and
    annually
  • Managing daily workflow (staffing needs, assign employees to
    daily duties, etc.)
  • Tracking production and time service including weekly and
    monthly reports.
  • Handling processing questions or issues from direct reports
    and internal customers
  • Handling producer complaints
  • Reviewing producer background to approve/decline
    applications
  • Researching and working with Business Team on system and
    procedural issues and corrections
  • Assisting with auditing of correspondence and system
    functions as needed
  • Assisting with additional duties as needed
  • Maintaining accuracy of producer information and commission
    records and payments
  • Ensuring processes and procedures meet state guidelines
  • Overtime is expected, as needed, based on the business needs
  • Assist with projects as assigned



Soft Skills:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills diploma
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Able to work independently
  • Analytical with strong decision making skills



Requirements




Requirements:



  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a management or lead role is
    required
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel
  • Basic proficiency with MS Word and Outlook
  • Intermediate proficiency with computer and Windows PC
    applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer
    system applications


 





Preferred experience:



  • Health insurance industry experience
  • 2-year or 4-year degree
  • Licensing and Commissions experience
