Primary Responsibilities:



  • Concurrent care management, effectively influencing facility treatment toward best practices and ongoing stabilization and well-being for our members. Independent management of daily caseloads, collaborating with other clinicians and MDs

  • Assessment and Triage Queue-based Care Advocate: Assessing inpatient, residential, and partial treatment needs based on Level of Care Guidelines

Requirements

Our Care Advocates must possess:


 



  • Clinical mental health (LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) licensure

  • Three years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health or chemical dependency

  • Background in facility-based care (i.e. psychiatric or substance abuse hospital, residential, or day-treatment programs)

  • Proficient computer skills


Additionally valued assets include:


 



  • Managed Care experience


  • Experience in psychiatric diagnoses (DSM-V), and psychotropic medications

  • Experience with concurrent or utilization review functions


  • Experience in intensive case management
