Summary of Position:
We are looking for welders to work on fabrication, maintenance, and installation of welding projects. Other duties may include maintenance of welding equipment in shop facility.
Description of Duties:
* Aluminum MIG welding
* TIG welding: steel, stainless steel, aluminum
* Sheet metal fabrication
* Spot welding:
* Use gas torch for welding, brazing, soldering and cutting
* Work with a variety of materials.
* Measure for dimensional requirements, squareness, flatness, etc., using appropriate tools such as calipers, squares, mics, height gage, and surface plate inspection
* Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings and follow written and verbal instructions
* Apply appropriate finishing: grinding, sanding, deburring, cosmetics and functional
* Maintain tools and equipment
* Working hours: 6AM to 2:45PM. (Longer days might be required when we are busy).
Job Requirements:
* Minimum (4) years welding experience.
* General math skills.
* Knowledgeable of various welding and fabrication processes, tools, and equipment. (specify as needed)
* Ability to work long hours as needed.
* Able to lift 50-70lbs as needed.
* Able to maintain and stay on schedule.
