Procedures / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up and operating bindery folding equipment in order to achieve custom finishing specifications of each individual print job, with job safety and quality results as primary goals.
• Reading and understanding the job ticket and/or instructions in order to meet the technical specifications and requirements.
• Set up and adjust equipment properly to all machine and job specifications.
• Operates machines at maximum productivity. Feeds, catches and boxes product circumstances permitting.
• Ability to operate other bindery equipment including cutter and saddle stitcher preferred, but not required.
• Move material and product around the production area as needed.
• Assess work processes and look for ways to improve own and departmental productivity.

• Must be able to stand up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, lift, and bend.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
• Adhere to safety and production standards.
