About this job

What The Role Entails:

Like an art curator, do you love pairing customers with a product that helps turn their home into a work of art - and get paid handsomely as if you've sold a Picasso? Then you've come to the right gallery.

Say goodbye to cold calling-61% of our business comes from repeat or referred customers, so this is an inside sales role. Your task is to take ownership of inbound customer calls and help them find the right solution. Customers will keep calling you back because they love seeking your advice to decorate and design every room in their homes. Reach for new heights while seeking to continuously improve all phases of your inside sales approach to "WOW" every single person you interact with.

Best of all? You'll receive uncapped, Performance-Based Compensation. Top Inside Sales Consultants (Design Consultants) have earned $100,000 in their first year.

What You Will Do:

- Maintain a customer pipeline to include sending samples, saving carts and emailing quotes to customers in order to close sales
- Multitask! Switch between multiple screens, input the correct information and consult with customers, all while wearing your fancy art curator glasses
- Call back customers that left messages about completing purchases or collaborate with your colleagues and split the amount
- Bond with your colleagues by sharing design tips and tidbits of inside sales and design advice in order to continuously improve
- Be in control of your performance-based compensation by meeting or exceeding performance standards in key performance metrics
- Meet with your coach to set professional, measurable goals for yourself and strive to attain and exceed them
- Be a constant ambassador of our core values and mission statement by providing great ideas and feedback
- Perform other duties as required by Management

What You Bring to the Table:

- Prior inside sales experience in the window covering, interior design, or retail industries can be helpful, but not required. Experience in account management is a plus!
- Computer-savvy skills such as navigating between multiple screens, typing quickly and accurately, and using various software programs like the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to talk AND listen through strong verbal and written communication skills
- Punctuality and adhering to the work schedule.
- Openness to coaching and feedback
- Passion for providing all customers with the right solution to their unique project needs.
- Yourself! Tell us about your hobbies, interests, and goals. Do you share our core values?

What We Are Like:

We continue to grow and increase profits in an incredibly competitive industry, and we enjoy every second. We love bringing aboard friendly, optimistic leaders who love to serve customers and have fun doing it! The Blinds.complex is a fun and casual office - with giant lava lamps and regular celebrations with cake. We work on laptops with lots of space to connect with other employees; you'll find lots of opportunity for professional and personal growth here. We are consistently ranked as one of the "Best Places to Work" because you're not just a name or number on payroll - you're part of our family. Bonus points if you love appearing in company-wide lip dubs.

PS: If you're not an expert on window coverings, don't worry! Paid training (training lasts on average 3 months) is provided! We'll teach you what you need to know and help set you up for success.
