About this job
Once Upon A Child, a growing children's resale shop, is looking for a full time Assistant Manager with previous management experience. Candidate must be sales and goal oriented, have proven customer service skills, and be computer literate. At least one year retail management experience but would prefer more. Candidate must possess strong organizational and time management skills. Solid communication skills are required as well.
In addition, the candidate:
*Must possess the ability to inspire and lead diverse groups of people
*Must be able to prioritize & delegate effectively & efficiently
*Must have open availability
*Must have the ability to effectively maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom as well as endure repetitive bending, prolonged twisting, stooping, standing, squatting & ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store
*Must be able to lift 40 lbs
*Must have the positive attitude needed to promote awareness and excitement in an effort to grow the Once Upon a Child brand
*Must assist in driving sales and profitability
