Job overview
The Banquet Captain is responsible for: training and directing the banquet staff in servicing all banquet activities in order to ensure a successful function and repeat business.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local health and safety regulations.
- Previous supervisory experience and organizational skills.
- Must be flexible and willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Previous hotel experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
