Undergraduate college Internships are available in a select number of departments at Marriott International's Corporate Office in Bethesda, Maryland. Departments include, but are not limited to,
  • Architecture & Construction;
  • Brand Management;
  • Communications;
  • Ecommerce;
  • Facilities;
  • Finance;
  • Global Operation;
  • Global Marketing;
  • Information Technology;
  • Legal; and
  • Sales and Revenue.
  • Candidates will experience a hands-on learning environment that will provide an opportunity to build skills and gain exposure in the exciting world of hospitality.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be currently enrolled in a college or university degree program
Note: Preference will be given to candidates currently completing their junior year
  • Previous work experience or relevant coursework in identified area(s) of interest

Preferred Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Ability to work in group settings and/or independently
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates creativity and innovation

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Actively listen and respond positively to customer or client questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues, delight and build trust. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Managers.
