Client in Fresno is seeking an Account Manager who will be upselling products and services. An Account Manager who is highly motivated, passionate individuals to join their sales organization.

Summary


Our Account Managers are responsible for maintaining and developing existing customer relationships through high levels of service in order to strengthen and expand the relationship. As a member of the operations team, the Account Manager is responsible for customer planning and administration, monitoring, and optimizing the revenue potential and operational performance of their branch’s accounts.

Responsibilities


The core responsibility of Account Manager is to build and maintain the existing customer relationships, while increasing branch revenue through additional sales to these accounts. The specific responsibilities of the Account Manager include:

- Identifying opportunities to introduce additional services to current customers, thereby increasing revenue opportunity within each customer’s business portfolio;

- Proactively conducts outbound customer outreach calls weekly;

- Maintains a high profile presence in the market by conducting client care visits, turning the sales relationship into a long-term strategic partnership;

- Liaises with the customers to understand their requirements with respect to products and services that organization is currently offering, or is planning to offer;

- Handles all customer inquiries and problems expediently and in the best interest of both parties;

- Proactively conducts strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis in order to review service needs and usage trends;

- Formulates strategies to retain customers where revenue may be decreasing;

- Completes standard weekly and quarterly reports, as well as any ad hoc reporting requests;

- Other duties as assigned.

Education


- Post-secondary education (College or University Degree), with a major in business or marketing is preferred.

Experience


- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in account management.

- Previous industry experience, including an understanding of document destruction and / or records management, business continuity and risk management solutions is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge


- Strong relationship building and management skills;

- Demonstrated expertise in initiating and managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationships;

- Practical and innovative problem solving capability;

- Strong presentation and communication skills (written and oral), and negotiating abilities;

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of computer software and internet savvy.
