The Front End Manager at Rock Springs Ace Hardware is responsible for ensuring amazing customer service and managing a team of cashiers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Training and development of cashiers in technical aspects of their position and in delivering customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Develop contests and motivational ideas to challenge the cashiers
- Ensure retail products are stocked on the front end for add on sales and impulse purchases
- Respond to customer inquiries, orders and complaints
- Quickly and effectively respond to customer traffic patterns by calling for additional cashiers when busy and utilizing slow times to maximize cashier productivity on projects, etc.
- Back up cashier when business warrants
- Accountability for cashier productivity and cash handling
Skills needed:
- Excellent communication skills to direct staff, implement store policies and serve customers
- Superior teamwork and management skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Friendly, outgoing and a desire to provide the highest level of customer service
- Leadership by example and ability to motivate a team
- Self starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
