Full-time Maintenance Mechanic/Technician
We currently have an opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Technician at Central New Jersey's premier independent living community. Our community prides itself on our many amenities and our quality of services and facilities, in a friendly, energetic environment.
Our candidate will have a minimum of five years of general maintenance experience, including minor plumbing and electrical repairs, and painting. Knowledge of any specialty fields such as welding, HVAC/refrigeration, advanced plumbing a plus. We seek an energetic, dependable, self-starter who is well organized, with an ability to multi-task. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and directions in English is required.
Job duties will include:
* Providing basic maintenance duties as assigned.
* Perform and/or assist with basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
* Assist with facility improvement and repairs.
* Support outside vendors & contractors as needed.
* Provide upkeep and repair for facility equipment.
Must be able available for emergency call-in on a rotating basis. Criminal background check required.
Candidate will be entitled to medical/dental benefits, AD&D & Life insurance, vacation & sick time off, daily on-site lunch, and participate in a year-end bonus program.
