Primary Responsibilities:



  • Under the direction of the Senior Director and/or Manager, contributes to the development of proposals that are customized to unique client needs

  • Structures and executes research, analyses and construction of deliverables for portions of large projects or entirety of smaller scope projects

  • Provides oversight and management of consultants and analysts on project teams (1 to 2+ FTEs) to deliver research, analyses and deliverables

  • Works across 2 to 3 consulting projects at all times

  • Leverages frameworks, process and discipline throughout the team to drive consistency in delivery

  • Individual billable rate target of 85%

  • Leverages resources wisely to optimize staff utilization on billable work

  • Develops self to master consulting skills and business relevant content to move toward expanding levels of responsibility

  • Contributes to the development of junior team members

  • Contributes to the development of new tools and frameworks that drive efficiency in delivery when used by internal consulting teams and business development

We have a strong preference for candidates in the following markets where we have local clients: Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago



 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Advanced degree, MBA, MD, MPH, PhD

  • 5 years progressive life sciences experience in the industry or consulting setting

  • Ability to travel at least 50%, including international travel

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proven skills in developing and executing research and analyses, and constructing deliverables

  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a flexible, unstructured environment

  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations

  • High energy level, positive attitude, output-driven and team-oriented

  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills

  • Strong ability to establish and grow relationships
