FOOD SVC UTILITY (FULL- TIME)

• We have an opening for a Full Time FOOD SVC UTILITY position.
• Location:  501 Billingsley Road, Charlotte, NC  28211. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule:  Must be able to work Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:00PM and every other weekend11:30am - 7:30pm
• Requirement:  Must have food service experience.

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Washes pots and pans in a 3 compartment sink
• Operates Dish Washing machine to wash patient dishes
• Assists in the delivery of food carts to patient units
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash/carboard and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
