ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - CONSTRUCTION

Have you worked successfully as administrative assistant in the construction field? Are you skilled at document control? Do you have solid written and verbal communication skills? Would you like to be part of the Metro Crenshaw/LAX project? A major construction contractor client is looking for a skilled administrative assistant like you!

Duties:

This role will support the Document Control process for two projects, assist with general office management, and assist the Project Manager as the administrative assistant.

  • Initially, assist the Project Controls Manager and other Managers, as needed.

  • As the Projects progress and workloads increase, the Administration Assistant role will primarily focus on Document Control and office management.

  • Filing, ordering various supplies, maintaining office equipment, maintaining various logs and databases, making copies for various field personnel

  • Compiling monthly insurance reports

  • Coordinating the vendor setup process

  • Answering and routing phone calls, communicating and coordinating with various departments

  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisors

    Requirements:

  • Successfully operate under limited supervision

  • Highly self-motivated, understands the importance of confidentiality with regards to personnel records, Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Good oral and written communication skills, and interacts with colleagues and clients in a professional manner.

  • Experience in the construction industry preferred, especially electrical or communications construction

  • Able to clear a background check

    Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
