This individual will need to have a strong desire to interact directly with customers, be detail oriented, self-motivated, eager to learn, and  able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the dock, and ensuring the correct product getting placed into production and out of the dock area in a timely manner. This candidate will ensure that all assets are handled with the prescribed security precautions, that all equipment is received properly. Additionally, this function will also be involved in managing the equipment inventory at offsite storage for accuracy. Sorting and delivering of packages to UHG customers.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Keep daily log file of vendor deliveries.
  • Scan all incoming deliveries into receiving tool for tracking purposes
  • Verify receipt of computer equipment and maintain temporary custody while engaging the proper parties for deployment
  • Maintain a spare parts inventory for maintenance usage
  • Prepare computer product for shipment to vendors or storage
  • Assist Asset Management in the cycle counting and auditing of computer servers
  • Verify receipt of computer equipment for model and configuration accuracy
  • Handle freight claims, quantity shortages and duplicate shipments
  • Keep daily outbound vendor log file.
  • Work with Asset Management to capture server data
  • Work with various teams to place equipment into deployment process
  • Prepare product for shipment to scrap or reclamation
  • Maintain /update internal inventory data base as needed
  • Maintain an orderly loading dock

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 80lbs.
  • 2+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience.
  • 2+ years skills with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service & team interaction skills.
