JOIN US AS AN AP TECHNICIAN INVESTIGATIONS - Philadelphia, PA

Leverage technology, reporting, and investigative skills to respond to requests, initiate and conduct investigations, and support a safe and secure culture. Collect, analyze and share intelligence to support the Stores, Investigators and internal and external partners in loss resolution, incident response, training, technology, and protecting reputation. Foster relationships with AP team members and collaborate to resolve issues impacting AP priorities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assets Protection Execution

  • Initiate and support store-level internal and external theft and fraud through reviewing reports, real-time monitoring and case-building.
  • Support Stores, Investigators and other key partners by providing timely, actionable intelligence, real-time support and responding to requests.
  • Support store and headquarter efforts to minimize shortage
  • Support a safe and secure environment focused on incident prevention, intelligence sharing and incident resolution.
  • Communicate safety and security incidents in a timely manner to key partners.
2. Assets Protection Strategy
  • Deliver training and troubleshooting on Target Video Solutions.
  • Deliver training and be a resource for Target Case Management.
  • Follow company procedures as it relates to AP process best practices, AP Directives, and handling confidential information; ensure other AP team members do the same.
  • Leverage tools, technology, information and tactics in a manner that protects reputation and minimizes risk.
  • Support law enforcement requests as appropriate.
REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:


Reports to: Investigation Center Operations Leader or Investigations Specialist.
Direct Reports: None
Other Working Relationships: Maintains a strong working relationship with Stores, Investigators, HQ partners, and Field leaders.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work with highly confidential information
  • Team player attitude
  • Demonstrated ability of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Intranet systems, CCTV systems, etc.)
  • Hours of operation of 7:00 am - 11:00 pm
  • Night and weekend rotation
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Target experience
  • Target Assets Protection and/or security experience
  • Potential to promote to a higher level within the organization
  • 2-4 year College degree
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
  • Strong investigation skills
  • Knowledge of all areas of Assets Protection, including internal and external investigations
  • Knowledge of technical equipment, including Target computer systems (e.g. TCM, POS, TVS, and other applications)
