Admissions Associate- Seasonal

 Kings Island has a diverse range of job opportunities for the upcoming season in Admissions and Guest Services for associates ages 15 and up. Kings Island is now accepting applications in our Admissions and Guest Services Department.   Interviews begin in February so now is the time to get your application submitted so that you can be one of the first to be interviewed in 2017 for a FUN summer job!

With more than 100 rides, shows and attractions, Kings Island offers the perfect combination of world-class thrills and family attractions. Guests can experience 16 thrill-inducing roller coasters, including the longest steel inverted roller coaster in the world, “Banshee,” and the world’s longest wooden roller coaster, “The Beast.” Families can spend the perfect day together in the 16-time, award-winning Planet Snoopy kids’ area. Park admission includes Soak City, a 33-acre water park that features more than 50 water activities including 30 water slides and two wave pools.

If you would enjoy assisting people in planning their visit, you may enjoy working in our Admissions and Guest Services department. From ticketing, season passes, and assisting guests with any need that arises, this department could be for you!

Some of the essential functions include:

• Greets guests, answers questions, ensures quality service, and resolves complaints for guests
• Gives directions to guest when needed and distributes informational pamphlets describing features of the park and special events
• Guides guests through the season pass or general admission purchase process while utilizing sales techniques such as quantity, up-selling, and product discounts
• Identifies and scans different types of admission passes and coupons at the turnstiles
• Operates cash register to correctly total price and tax for admission ticket and season pass sales; balances and reconciles cash drawer and records money/coupons received; processes payment and makes correct change

The 2017 season promises to be one of the best, with the addition of our new wooden coaster, Mystic Timbers!  Do you know what’s in the shed?  The 2017 season will also bring back Winterfest.   These new attractions, and more, await you during your season at Kings Island.
