Help Desk Technician needed for CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's gaming client located in Playa Vista, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Setup, manage and maintenance of IT-related equipment and services. (local network and WiFi, PC and Mac, software, mobile devices)
- Assist with the initial troubleshooting, installation, or implementation of systems.
- Coordinate and work with remote IT personnel from Main office, to troubleshoot any technical issues that cannot be easily resolved.
- Direct training and support to local staff with hardware and software matters. Upkeep of IT related records and documents.
- Manage and Update the local fixed asset inventories. What You Need to Bring to the Table:
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of five (5) years of system admin experience OR Help desk (at least two (2) years directly supporting game or movie production)
- Must be bi lingual in Japanese in order to interface with staff in Japan Strong administration experience of Linux (Ubuntu, Server / RHES) and Windows Server Strong knowledge of network devices (L2,L3,L4,L7 switches), Firewall+VPN and VoIP
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- vSphere Hypervisor, Xen Server administration
- Cloud Service (AWS, Azure, Rackspace etc.)
- Data storage knowledge (SAN, IP SAN and NAS)
- NoSQL knowledge (MongoDB preferred)
- Ability to write scripts (Python, Java Script, bash, Windows Powershell, etc.)
