Heartland Hospice, a subsidiary of HCR ManorCare which provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health and rehabilitation therapy is looking for an experienced sales professional to fill the role as Hospice Regional Manager of Business Development for the Chicago area.   In this high profile role reporting to the Regional Director of Operations you will utilize your sales acumen and strategic knowledge to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with high level executives/influencers in health care facilities, systems and communities in the Chicago area.  This position supervises, develops and provides direction to Managers of Business Development, Account Liaisons and Hospital Liaisons-RNs.

Desired areas of expertise/experience are:

**Strategic sales leader that is committed to driving growth and expansion

**Ability to work in collaboration with regional leadership and 3 local hospice Chicago offices and their teams to pursue growth

**Proven sales successes in the Chicago area demonstrated by having a network of relatable contacts

**Experience developing and implementing sales plans with multiple locations, sales representatives, and leaders

**Desire to want to provide extraordinary customer service to ensure all individuals are given the opportunity to learn about and receive the care they desire/need

**Ability to perform as an influencing sales leader

**Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategies

 

In addition, this role will require:  being active in the Chicago area by being involved in professional organizations, attending community events, etc., working closely with the local sales team but not being responsible for the hiring or management of the local or regional sales staff and collaborating with Regional Director of Operations, Administrators, Senior Regional Manager of Business Development and Divisional Director of Business Development.

Educational Requirements:Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications or related health field from an accredited institution required or RN.

Position Requirements:

A minimum of three years in sales, marketing or related field required; health care and supervisory experience preferred.

Home care, hospice or infusion experience required.
Travel 80% of the time. Overnight travel required.
