Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing previo
  • Medicare claim resolution experience, utilizing DDE
  • us
    account documentation in eFR, HIS and other available sources, in order
    to determine the appropriate action(s) necessary to resolve each
    assigned account. 
  • Responsible for initiating the next
    billing, follow-up and/or collection step(s), which is not limited to
    calling patients, insurers or employers, as appropriate
  • Responsible for documenting in eFR and
    HIS (where required) the billing, follow-up and/or collection step(s)
    that are taken as well as the result and next step needed to resolve the
    assigned accounts.
  • Responsible to stay in constant
    communication with Reimbursement Supervisor and Senior Reimbursement
    Specialist regarding all aspects of assigned projects.

Requirements

Requirements:



  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years Hospital billing/collections experience required 
  • 2+ years patient Accounting experience with a focus on Medicare Part A and Part B
  • Medicare claim resolution experience, utilizing DDE
  • Advanced skills interpreting carrier EOBs
  • Previous experience with UB04 
  • Previous experience handling Managed Care contract accounts
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize workflow
