As a Learning and Development Coach, you will develop and oversee as well as evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of learning & development programs specifically for our store managers and regional managers. You will provide recommendations for improvement and oversee the daily activities and professional development of the development coaches who will be assisting in the training. Duties Oversee Field Development Programs to include but not limited to New and Existing Associates.  Acts as liaison, mentor and coach to Associates and Managers in the field as well as to the Field Development Coaches. Conducts Live and Interactive Training Sessions.  This includes but is not limited to interactive webinars, live training workshops conducted in the field or at the home office, e-Learning courses. Participate in the design of Field Development Programs with L&D design team. Act as Operational SME during design process and/or work with Operational SME’s during this process. Participate in the design of Operations Management Development Programs with L&D design team. Act as Operational SME during design process and/or work with Operational SME’s during this process. Participates in the execution and delivery of Learning and Development Programs as well as coordinating with other facilitators and guest speakers to deliver content at group trainings. This would include but is not limited to the Field Develop Program, General Manager Development, Regional Manager Development, and Home Office Development. Consult with Leadership on perceived Associate and Management skill gaps and how to support the performance improvement of the field leadership. Perform talent development assessments and manage performance appropriately. Oversee all Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) as they relate to L&D and its support of Operations (for example, this could include Pathway, Renewals Manuals, Knowledge Core, E-learning coures, etc. Ensure all training materials (print, video, and E-learning courses) meet SOP & Operational Compliance and are maintained with assistance of L&D support team to reflect current and accurate compliance and procedural changes. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through course surveys and feedback from business leaders and provide updates on significant interactions and findings to L&D, Home Office Operational Support Team and the Field. Build and maintain a library of resources that address Associate and Management Development needs and competencies. Manage budget for Programs as appropriate. Identify L&D best practices related to Development Programs. Responsible for developing, coaching and mentoring individuals reporting to this position.   Position Requirements   Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management development or related field or equivalent experience.   5 years of experience in Learning & Development or other equivalent experience required. Management and Operations background preferred. The ability to manage, coordinate, organize, and prioritize simultaneous projects and multiple tasks. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognize & support the organization’s priorities. Results oriented with the capacity to balance other business considerations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
