We have a part-time opening for a Registered Nurse/Nurse Aide Trainer.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Background check required.
Wage: $20/hour
Requirements
Visiting Angels is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator/Instructor for its Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program located in Ravenna, Ohio. Minimum qualification include:
* Licensed registered nurse in good standing.
* Minimum of two years experience working as a registered nurse including one year in long term care (minimum of 1,600 hours in LTC). Experience must be documented with employment verifications.
* Resume.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a 32 hour Train the Trainer course.
The position involves training nurse aides to become STNA's in groups or 6-8 students per class. This is an existing program with the entire curriculum in place. The curriculum includes 60 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of clinical instruction.
