As a Golf Galaxy Players Assistant – Components and Club Repair Associate you will maintain customer service standards, generate sales; assist with merchandising, signing, pricing, inventory, and housekeeping.

Essential functions of this position include:
  • Provides outstanding service by greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining sales standards, and maintaining solid product knowledge
  • Aides customers by ascertaining their needs and assisting with merchandise/product selection
  • Assists customers by ascertaining their needs and upon customer’s request, perform needed repairs and/or modifications as well as aiding in product fitting and selection of components such as club heads, grips, shafts, tools, supplies and machines
  • Assesses needs of the customer by fitting them for components that ensure desired product performance; examples include fitting customer for proper shaft flex, length, lie, loft, grip size, etc.
  • Keeps current with product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertised merchandise
  • As directed, assists in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and resets, pricing, inventory etc.
  • As directed, assists in processing and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor by participating in receiving, tagging, and monitoring sales floor stock
  • Adheres to approved loss prevention programs to minimize inventory shrinkage and to support and grow the sales/profitability of the store




Success Profile
  • Prior experience with components and club repair with a customer service focus
  • Service and sales oriented with high motivation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available to work varied hours/days, as business needs dictate
