To perform complex tasks and work assignments; to diagnose and resolve complex Facility Services problems/requests. To implement facility moves and remodeling under the leadership of Maintenance Supervisor and/or Lead Tech.Position Responsibilities:1. Oversee the implementation of minor and major building moves.2. Perform repair and maintenance work of moderate to high complexity to building furnishings, fixtures, and finishes.3. Work with management to supervise the work of contractors and vendors employed to perform repair and maintenance work of moderate to high complexity.4. Responsible for follow-up and accurate documentation on work orders assigned to him/her.5. Implement Facility Services portion of all high complexity work orders within the appropriate time frames.6. Assist in the development and maintenance of inventories of parts, materials and equipment to provide services outlined above.7. Perform work as required to accomplish special projects. May work independently on projects under the leadership of management.8. Assist with various building inspections and annual facility audit reviews.9. Assist with set-up and tear down of special events and meetings.10. Receives, sorts, opens, inspects, and distributes mail/parcels/freight to business units. Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests/invoices.11. Assists in loading and unloading of parcels and freight. Requires manual lifting, loading and use of freight carts and other tools/equipment as needed for parcel processing.12. Use of computer system to log and track inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications:
1. Five years experience in Building Operations or related field, including three years
experience in the physical relocation/reconfiguration of furniture, personnel and
office equipment.
2. Familiarity with construction/remodeling also required.
3. Position demands excellent customer service skills.
4. Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and company software, i.e.(Lotus Notes,
Intranet, Discover Today, HR Central, Development Central, Benefits Central, etc)
5. Ability to work overtime as needed.
6. Position requires the effective use and thorough understanding of manual and power
tools, climbing ladders and exposure to chemicals commonly used in paints,
lacquers, etc.
7. Position requires frequent light-to-moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs), occasional heavy
lifting/pushing (up to 100 lbs or more), and will require sustained physical activity
throughout the workday.
