Come help shape the next generation of our UI Toolkit web
development framework! The UI Toolkit framework is used by many of our
applications as it provides a strong foundation of quality, security, user
experience and ease of use allowing teams to get their products to the market
faster. We have embarked on a new journey to evolve this framework making
it more accessible and responsive to support mobile and desktop application
needs. We are are looking for a UI Software Engineer that will help define
the direction and lead it's implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and
components leveraging frameworks such as AngularJS and REST APIs - Collaborate with product owners, IT stakeholders and
leadership to prioritize and implement features. - Deliver highest quality code with an eye towards
reduced technical debt and sound architecture - Provide technology direction and mentor other software
engineers within the team - Review code and provide feedback relative to best
practices and improving performance - Write automated unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot production support issues and
come up with solutions as required - Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on
the business
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience developing Web technologies including
HTML/HTML5, CSS and JavaScript - 1+ years of experience building SPA applications using
modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS - 3+ years of experience designing, developing and
delivering enterprise solutions - 1+ years unit testing experience with tools such as JUnit,
Jasmine/Karma - Experience working in an agile environment
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing common software components for
enterprise development - Experience developing mobile applications
- Experience working in a virtual environment (offshore
teams and distributed onshore teams) - Experience in the healthcare industry
