Dairy Queen Worker - Part-time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the location for all employees.
• Performs day-to-day assignments in addition to lead duties.
• Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution.
• Operate and maintain food/drink/treat equipment and registers properly and safely.
• Prepare products quickly and accurately, while following all preparation, health and safety standards and guidelines.
• Maintains a neat and sanitary work space.
• Records all sales, collects money, operates cash register and follows all cash handling procedures as required.
• Assist with daily cash counting/drawer reconciliation and deposits.
• Operate a cash register.
• Sell Food items.
• Maintains stock, inventory and requisitions. Including weekly orders and inventory counting.
• Closes and/or opens store. Other duties related to store operations as required.

• 18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• Prior quick service/fast food experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Health Card.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a high paced and stressful environment.
• Be able to move and respond quickly to various requests and commands and communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must have the ability to stand, bend, twist and kneel unassisted in close working environment for long periods of time while being exposed to hot and cold surfaces and life up to 25 lbs.
• Have excellent customer service skills including strong verbal communications skills, exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness.
