    Chemical Operator Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mix and create chemicals based on orders.

  • Responsible for flow of materials, including inspection of compounding area.

  • Work with pumps, hoses, reactors and other equipment to make products.

  • Support training and education within your area.

  • Exhibit initiative and accountability for your area.

    Chemical Operator Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years' experience in manufacturing.

  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, work with minimal direction and handle conflict in a positive manner.

  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with multiple departments, including Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations.

  • Fork lift certification is a plus.

    • Chemical Grinding
    • Mixer of Paints and Coatings
    • Dispersion (breaking solids into smaller particles and mixing with water)
