Autonation is seeking a Customer facing Associate trained to receive the Customer, complete Active Trade Appraisals, responsible for accurate vehicle inspection and partner to ensure maximum amount of vehicles are appraised and purchased. The Core Competencies for this position are; Customer Experience, Process Execution, Vehicle Inspection, Customer Follow Up and Team Engagement. The ideal individual will demonstrate behaviors consistent with AutoNation’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Active Trade Appraisal with each CustomerC
• Completes condition reports and inspects vehicles with Customer
• Properly id any red flag vehicles and transfer for further inspection
• Provide every no-sale Customer with a Guaranteed Offer Certificate for their trade in
• Follow up with any Customer who does not sell or trade in their vehicle during visit
• Provide Service Customers with unsolicited offers on their vehicle during slow times
• Ensure complete paperwork and process steps needed to complete the process if a sell only transaction
• Follow all controls to facilitate same day payment for sell only Customers
• Partners with Sales Team to make sure maximum number of vehicles are purchased, integrate into Sales process
• Requires travel to assigned locations

• Must meet company’s requirements for employment
• Demonstrated positive Customer Service and Process execution
• Demonstrated leadership and team building experience
• Experience working successfully in a high-paced team environment
• Able to influence people in a positive way
• Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with a strong drive for success
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid, progressive experience in automotive retail environment.
