We are
looking for a Software Engineer with primary skills in .NET and SQL Server
development to join a mid-sized team of developers working on both new
development efforts and supporting existing application versions of a Revenue
Cycle workflow web application.  The
candidate will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing,
debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with
established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.  Daily activities will include scrum standup
meetings, analysis, coding, design, unit testing, and collaboration with QA on
testing.  Interaction with the team is
highly collaborative and cooperative.



 



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Analyze
    and provide solutions for moderately complex tasks and projects, providing
    design documentation as required.
  • Work
    with team lead and product owner to understand business requirements.
  • Actively
    collaborate with team members, QA, and product owners in an Agile scrum
    environment on projects in order to deliver high quality and efficient
    solutions.
  • Provide
    accurate and timely estimates for project tasks
  • Participate
    in code reviews to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality
    standards
  • Provide
    support in production support issue resolution including root cause analysis
    and corrective action plans.
  • Exhibit
    solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit
    excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Be self-motivated
    with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or a related field)
  • 3+ years'
    experience with .NET and C# technologies including HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • 2+ years'
    experience with .NET MVC Framework
  • 1+ year
    experience SQL Server 2000-2012 (creating SQL, table design, views, stored
    procedures, triggers, etc.)
  • 1+ year
    experience with REST, SOAP, and related Web Service oriented architectures
  • Experience with at least 2 of the following: 
    WCF, AJAX, JSON
  • Experience with Windows Services
  • Experience with NUnit or similar testing tool 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JQuery
  • Experience and success working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Knowledgeable and demonstrated experience with browser version intricacies
    (particularly, IE)
  • Experience with developing Single Sign-on Technologies (SSO) using Active
    Directory, Ping Federate, or other models
  • Experience with Security Remediation and particularly with tools - Fortify and
    Webinspect
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem solving and a dedication to high quality code
