About this job
We are seeking a Front Desk Representative at a beautiful resort in Breckenridge Colorado. The Front Desk Rep will accommodate guests of the hotel by performing the following duties:
-Greets, registers and assigns rooms to guests
-Issues room keys and manages keys
-Manages incoming and outgoing mail and messages
-Transmits and received telephone, fax and email messages
-Answers inquiries and makes reservations pertaining to hotel services and rooms; registration of guests; shopping, dining, entertainment and tours; and transportation and travel directions
-Maintains records on rooms, guest ledgers, guest surveys, confirmations and daily activities
-Balances cash drawer
-Keeps the lobby area neat and inviting
-Distribute work orders to housekeeping and maintenance
-Deposits guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box
-Provides high quality of service to guests through following set policies and procedures
-Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work 8a-5p, 5p-11p and rotating weekends.
Full and part time available
Preferred Qualifications:
-Basic typing, data entry and computer skills
-Basic knowledge of office equipment
-Multi-taking and problem solving abilities
Education and/or Experience:
-Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
