*_Job Summary_* The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining TRU International transportation Budget of $100MM per year. Create and analyze expense cause of change to ensure transportation related expenses are aligned with budget/contractual plan. Analyze expenses and develop cost reduction recommendations based on product flow and TRU network. Manage ocean carrier contract bid process and contracts. *_Key Tasks and Responsibilities_* * 1) Manage Ocean and Drayage Carrier Procurement Process a. Responsible for the administration, maintenance, analysis & reporting b. Direct carriers and manage RFP/RFI distribution and collection c. Execute bid optimization software - Manage database, create scenarios, execute system solutions, review for accuracy/applicability d. Maintain bid optimization proficiency level e. Responsible for end-to-end carrier on-boarding process 2) Carrier Performance / Scorecard a. Manage carriers to transit and Purchase Order ETA standards b. Prepare Reports based on established KPIs c. Co-lead meetings with Import Operations Manager / Director d. Measure KPIs e. Develop corrective action and make recommendations as required 3) Maintain Global Contracts/Amendments a. Ensure all initial contracts and amendments are filed timely and are accurate. b. Support TRU International Import Managers with regards to Carrier, Contract/rate information. Leads efforts in any rate/contract issue resolution. c. Support TRU US Import Operations team regarding rate and contracts information. 4) Review Audit results and reconcile with Carriers. Responsible for Ocean Freight Audit - U.S. 5) Financials a. Create and maintain inbound budget analysis b. Create monthly finance and expense reports showing cause of change c. Publish Monthly expense report analysis d. Submit monthly accrual 6) Analyze a. Import product flows. Make recommendation to reduce expenses. b. Various ad hoc analysis as assigned c. Software analysis, makes technical recommendations for new software applications and enhancements to current *Education and Experience* * o Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or Industrial Engineering and/or equivalent work experience. o Three to five years experience in similar operations, analytical position and/or transportation area (required). o Solid analytical and math skills, communication skills, Technical: GT Nexus, CombineNet or other bid optimization tool.
