Mold Repair Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Set up molds, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with the daily molding and set up schedules. Review Molds with Manufacturing Engineering.

Specific Responsibilities:
Set up and adjust molding plastic and rubber injection molding machines and follow blue prints.
* Communicate any tooling or set up issues that impact production to the Molding Set up Leadperson or the supervisor in a timely manner.
* Make necessary safety and control adjustments (stack height, obstruction pressure, slow close, etc.
* Trouble shoot mold assemblies at presses. Change worn or damaged leader pins, stripper bolts, etc.
* Operate one or more plastic and/or rubber press as needed.
* Monitor machine loading system to insure it is properly stocked with material.
* Communicate with Tool Room Leadperson on Tooling issues.
* Use of shop floor computer. Use and understand inventory location systems and set up sheet.
* Clean mold tooling using wire brush and sand blaster. Prepare molds/tooling for shipment.
* Maintain production records and associated paperwork.
* Maintain company quality and production standards.
* Observe company policies and regulations.
* Report unusual conditions to supervisor or designated individual.

Comply with ISO 9001, TS 16949, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 requirements and procedures assuring that all required documentation is complete to documentation requirements.
