Job Responsibilities:
Admill Machine is accepting applications for a 2nd Shift CNC Milling Operator. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual who can maintain a positive attitude. The applicant will be responsible for operating 4-axis Horizontal, 4-axis Vertical and 5-axis machining centers. Machining center responsibilities include setup and operation of production processes, in-process inspection of parts, comparing production parts to drawing specifications and troubleshooting/reporting machine and production process issues. Our Milling Operators participate daily in continuous improvement activities focused around setup reduction, changeover reduction and the development of standard work. Our employees are expected to participate in areas of the business outside of their traditional responsibility upon supervisions' request. Overtime and/or weekend work is occasionally scheduled when it is required to meet our customer's delivery expectations.
Qualifications:
The applicant must be educated or experienced in production shop mathematics, machining principles and various machining technologies. A strong understanding of standard CNC controllers, CNC program languages and CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines is required. Proficient knowledge of FANUC and Okuma OSP controls is a plus. It is essential that the applicant have strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language. The applicant must be a High School graduate, and the completion of and CNC training program is preferred.
