Job Description
The person who is qualified for this position has completed CAD and drafting courses at the college level or at a trade school. Has mastered trigonometry and can perform mathematical calculations. Is knowledgeable in CAD applications to include AutoCAD current versions, AutoCad MEP 3D and preferably REVIT. Has had at least 2 years of CAD drafting experience in an engineering company. Additional two years of engineering firm experience may be considered equivalent to the drafting course requirements.

- Revit experience
Performance Expectations
- Perform CAD drafting in 2D and 3D to produce drawings, details, sketches and renderings on MEP projects.
- REVIT experience preferred.
- Help company develop and implement CAD drafting standards.
- Work closely with engineers.
- Perform trigonometric and other mathematical calculations.
- Set up project files and lay out drawings.
- Perform drawing file maintenance.
- Produce graphs, charts and overlays.
- Perform general office work as needed.
- May perform field site surveys and inventories.
- May perform quantity calculations for cost estimates.
- May run prints as needed.
- May work directly with the Systems Manager and/or CAD Manager to establish and maintain standards and procedures which are most efficient and productive for CAD operations. May provide recommendations for non-standard issues.
