About this job

The candidate will start out doing pretty basic, repetitive assembly work where they will be measuring bevels with boring gauges and assembling small parts on them and inspecting them. Eventually after 2-3 months they will be cross-trained in the assembly area where they will be doing small, basic sub assemblies on both smaller and larger parts including pumps.

-Works with minimal assistance/oversight in the building of sub assembly and finished goods.
-Builds proficiently to Takt time of product within specified area.
-Performs all standard work (piece by the hours work, 5s, etc.)
-Begins to troubleshoot errors or failures and product quality and process outputs.
-Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
-Also will help out in warehouse at times
-They need to be very mechanically inclined and have worked in a job environment with hand tools

Someone with experience with the following would be ideal, but not necessary:

* Height Gage
* Digital Calipers
* Bore Gage
* Pin Gage
* Thread Gage
* Optical Profile Projector Comparator
* Micrometer
* Microscope
* Rockwell Hardness Tester

-This will start out as a very repetitive position so they must be OK with that.
-The candidate must be quality conscious, they will be working with thousands of dollars of material.
-This is a 30 person company so there might be times where they are asked to clean up around the shop. (Sweeping, organizing boxes, ect)
-They really need someone who is a team player
-1st shift 7-3:30 (somewhat flexible)
